Connecting Your VelociDrone Account in RACES, using a Detached Member
STEP 1 - Find Your VelociDrone Player Name and User ID (UID)
Open VelociDrone and find your User ID (UID) in the upper right corner of the main screen.
You can find your VelociDrone Player Name in the upper left corner whenever you are racing in the sim.
STEP 2 - Create a Detached Member for Your VelociDrone Account
Log in to races.dronesinschool.com and navigate to your school page.
1 - Click "Members"
2 - Click the "Create Detached Member" link
Create the Detached Member Account.
3 - Enter your VelociDrone Player Name followed by "-VelociDrone"
4 - Click "Create"
STEP 3 - Connect the VelociDrone account to the new Detached Member
Go back to your School Page, select "Members".
5 - Click the Profile Icon for your newly created Detached Member
6 - Click "Settings"
7 - Click "Connections"
8 - Click "+ Add"
9 - Select "Velocidrone" from the drop-down
10 - Enter the User ID (UID) and Player Name
11 - Click the "+" to add the connection
(NOTE: Each VelociDrone User ID (UID) can only be entered in RACES one time. You cannot create multiple connections to the same VelociDrone account. If you get an error when clicking the "+" to add the connection, then the VelociDrone account is probably already connected to another member. STEP 4 - Add the new Detached Member to Your Team
Go back to your School Page
12 - Select "Teams"
13 - Click the Profile Icon for your Team
14 - Click "Members"
15 - Click "+ Add"
16 - Find the Detached Member you just created in the list and click the "+" to the right of the account name.
