Virtual Races
Race Locally, Compete Globally
Virtual races utilize a UTT (Universal Time Trial) course you can setup at your location. Your teams then record their times on the designated track and submit verification online to enter the national leaderboard and earn a spot at the National Race. Teams can also submit their Team Portfolio, Team Display and Marketing Video for evaluation. Virtual Races are scheduled for November, December, January, and February.

November Virtual Race
- November 3 - UTT Track released.
- Teams have until 11:59 PM ET on December 5 to post their times and assets.
December Virtual Race
- December 1 - UTT Track released.
- Teams have until 11:59 PM ET on January 9 to post their times and assets.
January Virtual Race
- January 1 - UTT Track released.
- Teams have until 11:59 PM ET on February 6 to post their times and assets.
February Virtual Race
- February 1 - UTT Track released.
- Teams have until 11:59 PM ET on February 27 to post their times and assets.
- Teams can submit the following for judging:
- Head-to Head Race on UTT Track
- YouTube or Shared Drive Link to Race DVR Footage or Camera Video
- Team Portfolio
- Digital version of the Team Portfolio (pdf, doc, etc.)
- Team Display
- Detailed images of the Team Display (pdf, doc, etc.)
- Marketing Video
- YouTube or Shared Drive Link to Team Marketing Video
NOTE: Teams do not have to submit all components to compete in an event. Entries can be submitted anytime in the month of competition and the last submitted entry for each category will be the one that is judged.

NOTE: For Virtual Races teams can fly their stock frame and carrying payloads is not required for head-to-head course timing. If Official STEM Alliance Gates are not available, any gate with a 36" wide by 30" high opening can be used. (you can make a gate with standard 1/2" PVC pipe or even cardboard)
